Update: The Bridge

Back in November the states of Vermont and New York agreed to close the Crown Point Bridge, a major artery between the two states and after a little over 100 days a ferry was put in place. We are very thankful that there was already a vibrant ferry company operating on Lake Champlain that had the resources to supply two ferries on very short notice. Rumor has it that it takes at least a year to get one of these ferries built and where would we be without Lake Champlain Transportation Company's ferries?, well you can only imagine.

We Need Less Government In Our Lives

The striking fact is that cities and towns are so in search of revenue using our police and courts to collect revenue they have neglected protecting people. They are in attack mode all over the country, issuing speeding and traffic infraction tickets, using red light camers's etc. in search of stopping crimes that are low fruit on the tree of our populace.

All the while driving around with "Protect and Serve" on their cars flanks.

Policing costs money and those that listen to the Fox are letting them eat all that is in the henhouse. Our henhouse.

This poor guy marched through hell and it's basement to get home and when he got back to Rochester, NY he was alone and confused and that is not a good place to be stripped of the structure of the military and the routine it provides.

Steve "Night Train" Holcomb bring the Gold home to Lake Placid in a sport that can be best described as driving a 1,000 horsepower race car on wet bumpy pavement with bad ball joints and bald bias belted tires. Those of you who remember bias belted tires are required to comment.









We can thank this guy and I'm sure so is the American Bobsled team.

Geoff Bodine he some how came up here and rode a bobsled and when he saw what our Olympic and World Cup teams were using for a sled, he recognized that we as a country could build a better sled. And we did, "Night Train" is the result of years of work and much donated money as the U.S. Bobsled team get's little if any support from Washington. How do you like them apples?
