They Believe He Is Just Like Them

I have just noticed that there are those who have been in public office on a national level who see the world through eyes which allow themselves to believe that public ofice is to be used to further their own personal beliefs instead of what we as nation beleive. Mr. Cheney's statements of the past week have given me cause to say this. He really believes what he says and this is frighting. In his perverse brain exists something that is different from what most Americans believe and if you read all of what he has said he has a malady that allows himself to personally justify whatever he believes and that those who do not think like he does to be in his opinion to be immorale and justifiably opposed. Sad, in a way and troubling for what and how do you deal with such a person who has such sway with national debates and policy.

A good prosecutor and prison time come to mind. Sociopaths, megalomaniacs and most criminals always have a good reason for what damage they cause.

Yes ... and it's always the other person's fault.

There's something wrong with Cheney--deep down. He is, I'm afraid, a sociopath of the highest order.

One scary guy!
