This is huge and I know that there can be an argument made that it will contribute to distracted driving and all but like anything else it is the old saw of, the more you use it, the easier it gets and for us old farts is is just another tech'y thing I have to learn about. Time for some spring cleaning....

I have thought for some time that Barack had little choice in his selection of many cabinet positions when he was elected. I have been watching this whole economic meltdown thing for 3 years now and we were very close to edge of economic collapse in September of 2008 and although Bush and his adviser's planned it pretty close, the missed by 5 months, to hand off to the next president an economy in such shambles as to assure whoever it was of only one term and they would have the opportunity to go right back to work lining their friends and associates pockets. That was then and this is now and I actually believe that the Fed chairman, sec of treasury and many others that were hired on at the outset of his administration and were pumped by Barack for what they knew will now be cast aside and replaced with people who have Paul Volker's mindset. The fire has been put out and it is time to investigate if the fire was arson, natural causes or criminal. It has been a year of giving Wall St all they need to get healthy and they might be out of intensive care and just resting and getting better by the day they are going to be held accountable for what they did. Barack is an economic expert and he knows what must be done. He is just biding his time because the situation was so bad when he arrived that he has allowed Goldman to front run trades, let the banks get money for nothing and lend at higher rates, let delay going mark to market on real estate all the while monitoring their real health. Trillion are involved here. There will come a time when things are better economically for, soon, to pull the trigger on reigning them in. He is not that stupid. Neither are we.

Ok, now I'm really, really pissed off

This President better start kicking ass and forget all of the can't we all get along bullshit right now. I am so disappointed by this whole HCR bullshit and the oh let's be nice to the Republicans and shit. Fuck em! Move on and get going with what our country needs now! If he doesn't get on the horse and ride then he is not the man I thought he was. Somebody send him a book about Lyndon Baines Johnson about how to get things done in Washington and tha namby pamby milquetoast from Arizona that wants to make nice with the other side, fuck him too and I hope he looses his reelection because Barack could have a carrier pigeon deliver notes to the senate as what to do and we would be better off. When are these democrats going to grow a pair. God Dam they are almost bending over backwards to let the republicans get in the way of anything progressive and good for the middle class. At this point Bolivia looks like a great place to live.

I would really enjoy doing something like this and the Camaro, or Camero as they say on Craigs List, is a good choice or maybe a old Mustang. The BMW, not so much....

The birthers are pissed

What comes to mind is that fox news has made a good living appealing to the birthers, tea baggers and any number of right wing radical mindset folks over the past few years and now they might reap what they have sowed. Like someone said o another blog comment page, they are like drug addicts who are always looking for a better and more powerful high, they will switch drug dealers in a heartbeat to attain the crazy michelle bachman, glenn beck, billo, hannity and the rest of the political drug dealers that have cooked up ever more drug induced lunacy.

The problem I see is that Fox News has been pimpin' these drug dealers and if this plays out as I think it will Fox is left with nothing. Having pissed off the addicts and spent their credibility with the rest of America Rupert might have to reap what he has sowed. A smaller group of viewers who are just to lazy to switch channels or to stupid to notice. In the end Fox should have considered adopting a business model more sustainable as so might the Republican party. Honest Injun'
