They Believe He Is Just Like Them

I have just noticed that there are those who have been in public office on a national level who see the world through eyes which allow themselves to believe that public ofice is to be used to further their own personal beliefs instead of what we as nation beleive. Mr. Cheney's statements of the past week have given me cause to say this. He really believes what he says and this is frighting. In his perverse brain exists something that is different from what most Americans believe and if you read all of what he has said he has a malady that allows himself to personally justify whatever he believes and that those who do not think like he does to be in his opinion to be immorale and justifiably opposed. Sad, in a way and troubling for what and how do you deal with such a person who has such sway with national debates and policy.

Still Going And Could Reach 1,400 Miles

Checked this afternoon at work and they reached 1,000 miles with Carl Edwards at the wheel and still had a 3rd of a tank left. They figure they will be going on until tomorrow and reach maybe 1,400 miles. That is just over 80 mpg. Look, I know it is all city miles and they are hypermiling, but they are creating an interest in hybrid cars that no one has done before and shows that Ford "GETS IT" when it comes to promotion and thinking outside the box. American car company doing something that focuses attention on saving gas and in innovative way. The naysayers are all over the net and have been posting all sorts of negative comments about this and I don't know why. Tell me what you think.

Hey! Look! Way Out There..

Here's the way I see it. The Republicans represent big business and so the policy's and legislation they vote for are meant to give big business more profits. The Democrats represent those of us who are not big business, yet include in their policy's and legislation just enough big business stuff as to allow them second tier status for the sake of fund raising. So we have two parties(why parties I could never figure that out as opposed to groups or season pass holders) well anyways, One does all can it to gleen as much money from the businness people in America and the second does not quite so much heart big business so as to play secind fiddle to the big business people(BBP).

What I see happening is that BBP are not in favor now and those that are first in line collecting all the BBP cash are worried about the BBP foreclosing on their house. So they really have no where to go to raise money other than those people who are somewhat racist in their views and can be easily swayed by appealing to their dislike with a black man in the White House. Hence the small and energetic group led by some national television networks that have railed against said White House resident. Like I said in an earlier post " the slippery slope does not care who you are ". The fundamental change that the Republican Party needs to make is right in their face and breathing on their lips and they are just indignant and value the success' of the past and hope that they will work in the future. And their inability to think outside the box has doomed their fate. Maybe when it get cold outside next winter and they are looking for someplace warm and comfortable to spend the winter inside, they will adopt the values of most Americans.

The circle of George Bush's and Dick Cheney's responsibility for killing people is growing by the hour and I fear how long it will go on. Monied people from Wall Street and Washington are killing themselves and their families to avoid the consequences of dealing with going from having it all to having less. My god, this cleansing of those who succumbed to greed and their inability to deal with life with less is sad and focusing. Feeling entitled to ever increasing amounts of money is truly sad and telling of their mindset.

Insecure people in the right place at the right time who made or stole massive amounts of money to feed a, "keep up with the Jone's lifestyle". Who in the end were more crooks and liars than, fathers, good citizen's and responsible Americans.

As we as a nation have access to more factual and untainted information, this allows us to weigh and decide what the next right thing to do is. And there is a growing rift between those of who who use this access and those who do not. By that I mean, those people who make use of a computer and visit Google, You Tube and other outlets that before they existed denied the American public of the ability to fact check and verify information that was fed to them in newspapers and on television. What we are beginning to see is that those people who refuse to take the time to inform themselves by way of computers are getting their information from the old and structured outlets. There can be no other logical explanation for the actions that they support. ca' mon when someone makes watching Glenn Beck a nightly event you just know they they think a laptop or a desktop is something being sold by Billy Mays.

I see a pattern with Barak's legislative assault on things that need to be changed in this country and I think he is not going to rest on the fact that he is so popular that he is going to be guaranteed two terms.

He is announcing plans to do this and do that, some short term and some not so short term, but definitely not long term.

Just like the gun above, throw so much legislation at the (R)'s that they will have to pick their fights and not have time to NO all of them and throw in a few that he is dreaming of and you have a scenario where the (R)'s are so busy fighting one thing they don't have the time or the people to cover them all.

The guy's a frakin' genius.
